awsome colour scheme and dramatic use of lighting make it a very appealing piece...
but the lens flare and the birds are unnecessary, unless u can palce them in a non-systematic fashion...they jus look too constructed, ie. the birds all look the same and the refraction coming from the explosion shuld be localised around the explosion - it jus looks kitch to me if the flare is in your face.
overall...its an awsome piece! i kinda gave up on my spacescapes a while ago but maybe ill start again from seeing this.

ye i know, i tried to get the flare to be angled but then it would be shining on something else other than the explosion that i did want it to shine off
i was realy disapointed by the terragen render , you can see the edge and the terrain looks boring... but...the explosion is awesome very nicly done and the planets look cool aswell but i thought u used the same texture for all the planets might be wrong tho??
good work for the space scene

Love was once a part of me, but now it's disappeared

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
